אמר רבא הלכתא שומר שמסר לשומר חייב לא מבעיא שומר שכר שמסר לשומר חנם דגרועי גרעה לשמירתו אלא אפילו שומר חנם שמסר לשומר שכר חייב מאי טעמא דאמר ליה את מהימנת לי בשבועה האיך לא מהימן לי בשבועה:
